We have a 2 node SQL 2005 64bit cluster with Active Passive configuration
    and 2 SQL instances.
I'm trying to install Analysis services on the SQL cluster and was told you
need to install the service via command line can someone send me the syntax
with a detail instruction of how to to install the service.
    Thanks

  2. Hi,
Welcome to Microsoft TechNet Managed Newsgroup Services.

I understand that you would like to install SSAS 2005 on your existing SQL
Server 2005 failover cluster via command line.
If I am off-base, please let me know.

To add SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services to an existing SQL Server 2005
cluster, see the "To add components to an existing, SQL Server 2005 cluster
from the command prompt" section of the following Microsoft Developer
    Network (MSDN) Web site:
    http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms144259.aspx

Hope this helps. Please do not hesitate to let me know if you have any
    other questions or concerns.

    Best regards,
    Charles Wang
