Excel query: Need to filter individual field without effecting oth

    Is it possible in Excel to use SQL, or Mircosoft Query, to filter an
    individual field without effecting the other fields in a recordset? I.e. I
    want to run a standard query which returns values from several fields, but on
    one field I only want it's value returned if another field matches a certain
    value. Thanks.

    The question is not clear. If you are using SQL Server as source, and use MS
    Query in Excel to read SQL Server data, you should be able to do what you
    need with CASE expression inside Transact-SQL SELECT statement.
