    Hi,

Im trying to install SQL Server CE in my Pocket PC Emulator. Nick
Grattan write in his book this lil piece of code:

    Private Sub Command1_Click()
    Dim o As CEUTILSLibCtl.Process

    Set o = CreateObject("CEUTILS.Process")
    o.ShellWait "dllregister.exe"
    End Sub

that can be used to create a button that registers SSCE onto the device
as well as the emulator. When installing on device I need to copy
ssce20.dll and dllregister.exe under "/windows" folder, which i did. so
above works for the actual device. Now I am trying to install SSCE in
the emulator, but its not working. I'm guessing its because I am not
placing the ssce20.dll and dllregister.exe (found under x86 folder for
emulator) in the right location on my pc?

Kindly tell me how can I load SSCE on my Pocket PC Emulator. Thanks.

Create a program that uses SSCE. Anything. Just make sure you check off the
reference to SSCE in the Project > References.

Under Project > Properties, make sure Components is set to Always and check
off both the Runtime Files and Project Components.

Run the program in the emulator. This will install all the SSCE .dll files
    into the emulator environment.

This is for those who aren't using eVB or those who want to do it manually.

    Copy the files from
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server CE 2.0\Device\X86\Emulation

into the \windows folder on the emulator

Then run registerdll.exe on the emulator
