Multicollinearity

Discussion in 'microsoft.public.sqlserver.datamining' started by anonymous_user, May 22, 2007.

  1. What kinds of precautions are taken in Microsoft Logistics Regression algorithm in order to ensure that multicollinearity is not a problem in the model?

In other words, should we check our model against multicollinearity or is it handled by the algorithm?

    Thanks in advance, Afsin

I would check the data first. I do not know all of the details of the
algorithm, but I doubt it can check for multicollinearity by itself.
