    Hello,

I am just started with .NET CF with SqlServerCe and a device with
    winCE.
I read several tutorials and I still some questions.
I already made a program in C# for this device. Now I want to know how
I can put everthing on the device.
Do I need the System.Data.SqlServerCE.dll on the handheld and if yes,
    how do I do this??
    OR
Does someone have a nice program or link for me, so I can follow
    this?!!

    Thanks in advance.

    cheers

    Hi Hans,

Yes, you need System.Data.SqlServerCe.DLL on the device. If you are developing using Visual Studio 2003, all the SQL Server CE components will be
    automatically deployed to your target device through Visual Studio. If you'd like to manually setup your device, you can follow these instructions;
1.) Navigate to the appropriate device subdirectory under the "Windows CE" folder in your Visual Studio 2003 install directory (i.e. C:\Program Files
    \Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003\CompactFrameworkSDK\v1.0.5000\Windows CE\wce300\arm).
2.) Copy over all the .CAB files to your device and then open each .CAB file from your device.
3.) SQL Server CE and the .NET Compact Framework will be installed by the .CAB files.

    Thanks,

    Eric Feng

    Hi Hans,

Can you verify that you have the following files installed on your device?
    \Windows\SQLCE 2.0\ssce20.dll
    \Windows\sscemw20.dll
    \Windows\GAC_System.Data.SqlServerCe_*

If not, you may have missed installing one of the .CAB files.

    Thanks,
    Eric Feng
