    All,
I'm having a difficult time troubleshooting a connection issue between
my client computer, and the Analysis server. Both are on my private network
at home (two separate computers). I can connect to the Analysis Server via
the Management Studio while logged on to the server. When I'm logged on to
the client with same admin account, or even user account, I can't see the
Analysis server. I can see the Database Engine from both, so it appears
that all the networking protocols are good. Any suggestions? Is there a
    step-by-step checklist I could follow?

    Thanks,
    Jeff

Start with SQL Server Surface Area Configuration tool (in SQL Server folder,
Configuration Tools subfolder), start the tool, use the Surface Area
Configuration for Services and Connections link and check whether your
    Analysis Services allows remote connections.
