    Hi,
From SQL Server or mySQL, how do you create a replica of the database from
office to home? Does it happen to be some kits that are available with the
    software?
    Thanks in advance

  2. Take a backup using the BACKUP command, take the backup file home and
restore the database from that file, using the RESTORE command. You can find
detailed examples of these commands in SQL Server Books Online.

    Hi Narayana,
How do you do the same in mySQL? the size is considerably big... (> 650MB),
can't fit the whole lot into a CD-ROM?
    Thanks

Now I remember splitting. But how do you split the databases into parts and
store them on multiple CD-ROMs? (SQL Server/mySQL) Thanks
