    Hi

i'm starting to get inside data mining tools for sql server 2005. Thank you guys!
I saw that it possible to use office web components to explore data. Are there any available tools in development studio to use pivot tables to transform time series to the desired scale and export the entire source data into a new table? If not, is there any way to do it on the fly?

  2. Depending on the complexilty, you could use SQL GROUP BY statements (in
which case you could just create a named view in the DSV). If the
complexity is too high for SQL to process efficiently, you could create an
OLAP cube to do the aggregations.
